Getting Started as the School Owner
As the owner, your part is short, and only you can do it. Once it is finished and you have added your staff, they can do the rest of the setup using Setting Up Your School on Fees101. Have your bank details and your Paystack or Monnify login with you.
1. Set your password
Open the welcome email from Fees101 and follow the link to set your password.
2. Connect Fees101's billing
The first time you log in, Fees101 asks you to connect the bank account or card you will pay Fees101 from, and to pay the setup fee. This is what Fees101 charges your school. It is separate from what your school charges parents.
3. Verify your school's details
Go to School → Profile. Add your logo, check your address, and verify the school's phone number and email. Parents are told to contact the school office, and billing and security notices go to these details.
4. Complete your payment account
Parents' money goes straight into your school's own Paystack or Monnify account, so it must be yours and fully activated. Add your live keys in School → Payments, test the connection, and add the webhook URL to your provider's dashboard. Without the webhook, payments will not record automatically. On Paystack, press Test webhook to confirm it works.

5. Set your discount rules
If your school gives sibling or staff discounts, set those rules now. If it doesn't, skip this.
6. Add your staff and hand over
Add whoever will finish the setup, usually your bursar. The built-in Bursar role can do classes, fees, students and reminders. Then send them this guide:

No staff, or prefer to do it yourself? That is fine. Your account can do everything, so just follow the same guide.
