Managing Student Payment Accounts (Virtual Accounts) in Bulk
Every student (or family, if family accounts are on) is meant to have their own dedicated virtual account to receive payments into. Most are created automatically when a student is added, but accounts can fail to provision, and this is where you fix that in bulk.
Steps
Go to Students → Payment Accounts to see the roster filtered by who's missing a virtual account.
Alternatively, from School → Payments, use "Create accounts for N students" to provision accounts for every student currently missing one.
Either path runs as a background job — you can track live progress and it's safe to retry if it fails partway through.
Notes
This tool is retry-safe by design — running it again doesn't create duplicate accounts for students who already have one, so there's no harm in re-running it after fixing whatever caused accounts to fail (usually a provider connection issue; see Connecting Your Paystack or Monnify Account).
