Finding and Registering Your Webhook URL
The webhook is how your provider tells Fees101 the instant a payment settles, so it can match it to the right student's invoice automatically. Without it registered, payments won't reconcile in real time.
Testing that it works
Save the webhook URL in your Paystack dashboard, in Live mode.
In Fees101, go to School → Payments and press Test webhook.
03Wait up to a minute.
Connected means Paystack reached Fees101 and the notice passed its checks.
The test asks Paystack to create a small payment request for a Fees101 test customer, then cancels it. No money moves and no parent is contacted, though you may see the cancelled request in your Paystack dashboard. If the notice is rejected, the keys saved in Fees101 are not the live keys for that Paystack account. If nothing arrives, check the URL is saved exactly as shown.
On Monnify there is no test. A small real transfer into a student's account number will confirm it.
Steps
Go to School → Payments.
Find the Webhook URL field — it's shown read-only, already built from your host, your connected provider, and your school ID, so there's nothing to type here.
Copy the URL.
Log into your Paystack or Monnify dashboard directly and paste it into their webhook settings.
Notes
This is the one step in going live that happens outside Fees101 entirely — on your provider's own dashboard, not inside the app. It's worth doing this as the last step, after your keys are entered and tested, so the webhook you register matches the provider connection that's actually live.
