Accepting a Staff Invite and Setting Your First Password
This is for someone who's never signed in before — the email that arrives the moment your school adds you as staff. If you already have an account and just forgot your password, see Logging In, Logging Out, and Resetting Your Own Password instead.
What the invite email says
The subject line names whoever added you — "[Name] has added you to Fees101" — or, if that's not available, "You've been added to [Your School] on Fees101." The email itself names your role and has one button: Set your password.
Setting your password
Choose Set your password in the email.
You'll land on a page showing your school's name, who invited you, and your role, so you can confirm it's the account you expect.
Enter a new password — at least 10 characters — and submit.
04You're signed in automatically and taken straight into the app.
There's no separate "confirm your email" step first.
If the link has expired
Invite links expire 7 days after they're sent, or the moment they're used once. Clicking an expired or already-used link shows "This invite has expired" instead of the password form.
If you already set a password on an earlier attempt, choose Go to sign in — your account already works.
02Otherwise, choose Notify whoever invited you.
This emails them automatically asking for a fresh invite — you don't need to track down their email address or ask around.
Whoever invited you can also send a fresh link themselves from Team → Users → Resend invite without waiting for your notification, if they notice first.
